From a very young age i've always had a fascination and admiration for the wildlife around me, this led me to becoming an animal artist. Now i'd like to use this platform to try to give something back. Over the course of this year I will be releasing a series of prints of endangered species, with 10% of each sale going directly to related animal charities. And a further 50% from each of those originals also being donated.
Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital
To start the year off following the devastating bushfires in Australia I have produced an original Koala drawing 'Percy', named after one of the survivors of the fires being treated at Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital.
I have had 50 Ltd Edition Giclee prints produced with100% of profits going directly to the Australia Zoo Wildlife hospital. These can be found in my shop page. I also held a raffle prize for the original drawing. So far with the two combined we have raised over £1,100 for the hospital.
How you can help? Head on over to my shop and purchase one of the remaining ltd edition prints for just £30.
Peoples Trust for Endangered Species
As of February 2020 I am pledging to donate £1 from each non-charity limited edition print sale to Peoples Trust for Endangered Species. A UK based charity that try to restore habitats and numbers of endangered species here in the UK and abroad.
With each order you will recieve a free Treebomb. These are handmade seed balls containing native UK Alder tree seeds which create bio diverse habitat and grow quickly into strong carbon capturing trees.
You will get info on how and where is best to scatter them. This is just one of the ways I am trying to give something back to the environment and what better way than to get each one of my customers involved. The environmental crisis we are currently in weighs heavily on my mind, here’s a small way we can all help to make a difference. I currently have enough seed bombs to plant 2,300 trees.
RSPCA - £150 donated to date.
If you are an animal/wildlife charity based in the UK and have an idea on how we could collaborate then please do get in touch.
